I often hear people say that they do not think they are growing spiritually because they are not like other people who can see/hear/sense/feel the angels and spirit guides. And when I tell them that being able to see/hear/sense/feel is not an indication whatsoever of whether they are growing spiritually, they are very surprised.The world we live in tend to see things in boxes. Even in the spiritual arena, most people seem to think that having the gift of clarivoyance is a sign of being spiritually evolved. As my teacher Dr Joshua Stone has said, (I’m going to paraphrase here) some of the most clarivoyant people do not even believe in God and they are not even spiritual. I learned that this is so true.
Some of the most evolved people I have encountered have evolved mindsets, and have an ability to turn any seemingly negative situation into a positive one. And for the most part they do not have the ‘gift’ of clairvoyance/clairaudience/clairsentience/psychism.To me, their spiritual gift is the gift of being real, being grounded, being able to see life as it truly is, and most of all, the gift of transformation of their own mindset. These gifts are as spiritual as any other gifts.
You do not need psychic gifts in order to grow spiritually. Sometimes it can even be a hinder to your growth!
The most important spiritual gifts to make manifest, experience and share with people you serve and the world are the gifts of love, peace, harmony, care, self empowerment, clarity. If you can experience these in yourself, make them real and live and breathe them everyday and share them, you will be honouring God on the highest level.
Be grateful for these spiritual gifts, they have proven to last.Â
